Who Sends the Messages
Text messages are sent by Gem State Tennis Academy ("GSTA"). They come from a number operated by GSTA through our messaging provider. GSTA is the only party sending messages under this program.
What We Send
If you opt in, you may receive text messages about:
- Schedule changes, cancellations, and weather alerts
- Session and practice reminders
- Registration, waitlist, and account updates
- Payment and billing notices related to your account
- Occasional program announcements from GSTA
How to Opt In
You can opt in to text messages in any of these ways:
- Enter your mobile number and check the consent box when you create an account
- Turn on SMS notifications in your account under Account → Notifications
- Text START to our messaging number
Consent is not required to register for programs or to make a purchase. We only text numbers that have opted in, and each opt-in is recorded with the date and the exact wording agreed to.
Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. GSTA does not charge for text messages; any charges come from your mobile carrier.
HELP and STOP
Reply STOP at any time to cancel text messages. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Reply START or UNSTOP to resubscribe.

You can also turn SMS off at any time in your account under Account → Notifications.
Carrier Liability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, device, and coverage, and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on text messages alone for urgent or safety-critical information.
Privacy of Your Phone Number
Your phone number and SMS consent are used only to send the messages described above and to keep a record of your consent.
SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Message delivery is handled by our messaging provider, which processes your number solely to send messages on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the rest of your information.
Eligibility and Accuracy
You must be 18 or older, or the parent or guardian of the participant, to opt in a phone number. Only provide a number you own or are authorized to use.
If your number changes, update it in your account so messages reach you and are not sent to someone else.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to receive messages after an update means you accept the updated terms.
